A lovely site next to the River Wye. A small turn out; wished we had more support from the members. Those that did come I'm sure enjoyed themselves. Second day in we had a man taken ill on site...Sandra to the rescue. Air Ambulance came and glad to say gentleman recovering. Thank U 4 coming.

Had a lovely week at Builth Wells on a nice site. The toilets and showers were more than adequate for our needs and the site was very neatly kept by the owners. During the week we went out for a group meal at the Cosy Corner Restaurant for a lunchtime meal and spent an afternoon in Llandrindod Wells and Brecon. The weather was kind to us, all except for one day of rain. The rest were dry and mostly warm, though quite breezy. We had our 'drama day' last Friday when an elderly motorhomer was airlifted to Worcester Hospital following a heart attack on site. There are several marked walks around here; one day John and myself went for a walk up to the beacon overlooking the site. It was around a 4 mile return walk and lovely views at the top. Thanks to Roy and Joan for the social evenings and to Annette for the photos supplied. Jean won the Bingo - thanks to John & Sandra, Graham & Sandra for running the rally.
